MOPS Ministry

Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) wants to help you be the best parent possible.  A MOPS group is a special place to come to be refreshed and inspired.  You’ll make new friends and discover smart approaches to tackling the challenges of motherhood.  MOPS is available for pregnant mothers and all those who have preschoolers and/or children in kindergarten.  MOPS helps moms… and makes a difference in the lives of families.  The following are just a few of the benefits MOPS groups can offer:

  • An opportunity to forge friendships with other moms and practical tips for surviving the preschool years
  • Teaching based on Biblical values about mothering, womanhood, and relationships
  • Discussion groups where moms can express their thoughts and feelings in an encouraging, accepting environment
  • A time to express creativity in a variety of activities
  • Age-appropriate childcare provided by loving volunteers while moms are meeting

The Gerry MOPS group meets the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month from 9:30-11:30 a.m. during the school year at the Gerry Free Methodist Church.  Planned outings are also scheduled throughout the summer months.
